Alex Iwobi has written his name into Premier League history by becoming only the fifth player to make at least 100 appearances for three different clubs in the competition.
The Nigerian midfielder reached the landmark on September 5, 2026, when he started for Fulham against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage. It was his 100th Premier League appearance for the London club, adding to 100 appearances previously made for Arsenal and 123 for Everton.
Iwobi’s achievement places him alongside Premier League veterans James Milner, Gareth Barry, Rory Delap and Gary Speed, who had previously reached the same milestone. He has now made more than 320 Premier League appearances across his three clubs.
The milestone reflects the longevity of Iwobi’s career in England. He came through Arsenal’s academy and made his Premier League debut for the Gunners in 2015. After four seasons in north London, he moved to Everton in 2019 before joining Fulham in 2023.
At Arsenal, Iwobi made 100 league appearances, scoring 11 goals. He went on to make 123 Premier League appearances for Everton before establishing himself as an important member of the Fulham squad.
Although Fulham suffered a 3–2 defeat against Crystal Palace in the match that marked his century, the occasion was a significant personal achievement for Iwobi. At 30, he has become just the fifth player in Premier League history to reach 100 appearances for three separate clubs — a rare record that underlines his consistency and longevity at the highest level of English football.
