Punjab FC Sign Former Kerala Blasters Forward Messi Bouli

Former Cameroon international joins Punjab FC on a one-season deal ahead of the 2026–27 ISL season.

All Indian Super League clubs are looking to strengthen their squads in the transfer market ahead of the 2026-27 season.

As part of this, Punjab FC has acquired former Kerala Blasters, East Bengal and Jamshedpur FC foreign forward Messi Bouli. The club itself informed its fans about this on its social media.

Punjab has acquired former Cameroon international Messi Bouli on a season-long deal.

The player first came to play in India through Kerala Blasters ahead of the 2019-20 season. The player scored eight goals in 17 matches in that one season.

Later, after playing for various clubs in China, East Bengal acquired the player in 2025. After that, the player joined Jamshedpur FC for the 2025-26 season. The player has played around 30 matches for Indian clubs and has scored around 12 goals.

“I am very happy to join Punjab FC for the upcoming season. The club has built a great football setup and has shown clear ambition. Having played in India before, I know the intensity of the league and what it takes to deliver on the pitch,” Messi said after signing for Punjab FC.

Punjab FC is undergoing major changes ahead of the new season. Therefore, more transfers related to Punjab FC will be coming in the coming days.
