Al Hilal beats Al Nassr In Saudi Super Cup Final

In Saudi Super Cup Final , Al Hilal secured the  title with an emphatic 4-1 win over Al Nassr on Saturday, overturning a first-half deficit with a commanding performance after the break.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Al Nassr just before halftime, converting a well-timed pass from Abdulrahman Ghareeb. The first half offered limited chances, but Ronaldo’s strike gave his side a narrow lead heading into the interval.

However, the second half belonged entirely to Al Hilal. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic equalized in the 55th minute after a slick one-two with Aleksandar Mitrovic, unleashing a powerful shot into the net. Eight minutes later, Mitrovic put Al Hilal ahead, heading home a precise cross from Ruben Neves. The Serbian striker struck again in the 69th minute, finishing off a pass from Brazilian winger Malcom to extend the lead.

Malcom then capped off the scoring just three minutes later, capitalizing on a mistake by Al Nassr goalkeeper Alvaro Gonzalez, who failed to control a pass from Aymeric Laporte. The Brazilian calmly slotted the ball into the net, sealing Al Hilal’s victory.

This triumph marks Al Hilal’s second consecutive Saudi Super Cup Final win and their fifth in history, solidifying their position as the most successful team in the competition, with three more titles than their rivals, Al Nassr.

Ronaldo, despite his impressive goal-scoring record , remains without a domestic trophy in Saudi Arabia. Al Hilal will begin their title defense against Al-Okhdood next Saturday, while Al Nassr faces Al-Raed two days earlier.
