Ancelotti Confirms Mbappe’s Real Madrid Debut

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced that Kylian Mbappe is set to make his eagerly-anticipated debut for the club in the upcoming UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta. The French superstar signed for Madrid on a free transfer this summer after a protracted transfer saga.

Mbappe’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu has generated immense excitement among fans, and Ancelotti’s confirmation further heightens anticipation. “Mbappe can obviously be in the Super Cup starting XI,” Ancelotti stated confidently, adding that Jude Bellingham and other players who were on holiday after Euro 2024 and the Copa America are also ready to feature.

Currently on a three-game pre-season tour in the USA, Real Madrid has one more match against Chelsea before returning home. Mbappe and other international players will join the squad at the Valdebebas training complex.

The UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta will take place in Warsaw on August 14, providing Mbappe with the perfect platform to showcase his talents in a Real Madrid shirt. The match will also serve as a key preparation for the start of the La Liga season, with Madrid’s first match away to Mallorca just four days later.

Mbappe’s first home match at the Bernabeu is scheduled for August 25 against Valladolid, offering fans the chance to welcome their new star in person. The team will then face Las Palmas away and Real Betis at home before the first international break of the season.

The stage is set for Mbappe’s highly-anticipated debut, and Ancelotti’s confirmation adds further excitement to the UEFA Super Cup clash. Madrid fans will be eager to see their new superstar in action, and Mbappe will undoubtedly be keen to make a statement in his first appearance for Los Blancos.
