FPL Gameweek 2: Four Transfer Moves to Consider

Fantasy Premier League managers are already making changes ahead of Gameweek 2, but not every Gameweek 1 performer is worth chasing.

Here are four transfer moves highlighted by FPLUpdates_Tips.

Kinský to Tzolakis

Both goalkeepers cost £4.5m, making this an easy sideways move. Tzolakis kept a clean sheet in Hull’s 2-0 win over Manchester United, but Hull face Coventry next.

Verdict: Optional. A reasonable move if you already want to move away from Kinský, but not essential.

Shaw to De Cuyper

De Cuyper was the standout defender in Gameweek 1, returning 17 points after playing in an advanced role for Brighton. However, Chelsea away is a tough Gameweek 2 fixture.

Verdict: Hold. Don’t rush to buy him after one big haul.

Groß to Sangaré

Sangaré delivered 14 points in GW1, including two assists and defensive contribution points. Brentford also have a favourable fixture run coming up.

Verdict: Good long-term move. But there’s no need to sell Groß simply because he blanked against Chelsea.

Watkins to João Pedro

This is the clearest move of the four. João Pedro scored 11 points in Gameweek 1, while Watkins’ future at Aston Villa remains uncertain.

Verdict: Make the move. João Pedro looks like the more attractive option at the moment.

FPL takeaway: Don’t chase every Gameweek 1 haul. Tzolakis and Sangaré are interesting options, while De Cuyper can wait. João Pedro is the transfer that stands out most.
