Klian Mbappe is reportedly poised to emerge victorious in his legal battle with former club Paris Saint-Germain over unpaid wages and bonuses, according to L’Equipe.
The French publication reports that the LFP’s joint appeal committee is expected to rule in favor of the 25-year-old Real Madrid forward when they announce their decision on Friday. This follows PSG’s appeal against the LFP legal commission’s initial verdict in September, which determined that Mbappe was entitled to the disputed funds.
However, the Legal battle may not conclude with Friday’s ruling. PSG could potentially pursue another appeal through the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), extending the dispute further.
The case stems from Mbappe’s departure from PSG to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, with the French international seeking approximately €55m in unpaid wages from his former club.
