Spain win Historic Olympic Gold in Men’s Football

Spain has secured a historic gold medal in men’s football at the Paris 2024 Olympics, triumphing over hosts France in a thrilling final. This victory marks Spain’s first Olympic gold in men’s football since the Barcelona Games in 1992 and crowns them as the first European champions in the sport in over three decades.

This achievement comes just two years after Morocco’s historic run to the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they knocked out giants Spain and Portugal.

The podium ceremony at Parc des Princes saw gold medallists Spain flanked by silver medallists France and bronze medallists Morocco, capturing a moment of immense pride for all three nations at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
