Haaland Breaks Another Premier League Record, Surpassing Rooney’s Milestone

Manchester City star Erling Haaland continues to make history in the Premier League, adding another impressive achievement to his growing list of records. Haaland has now surpassed Wayne Rooney’s 13-year-old record of eight goals in the first four games of a Premier League season, set during the 2011-12 campaign with Manchester United.

With 72 Premier League goals in just three seasons, he has already surpassed football legends like Eric Cantona and Luis Suárez. Haaland also became the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League goals, achieving the feat in just 48 matches.
His ability to score against all 23 opponents he has faced in the league, with Ipswich Town being the latest addition to his list, further highlights his consistency. In his debut season with Manchester City, Haaland set the record for the most goals in a single Premier League campaign, scoring 36 times in 35 appearances, eclipsing the previous record of 34 goals set by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer during 42-game seasons.
Haaland’s record-breaking performances continue to define his career, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Rooney’s
