Paul Pogba has reported back for Manchester United’s pre-season training despite his future still being up in the air as he travels to Australia with the club on tour.
The Red Devils will head onto China and Singapore before ending their pre-season campaign in Wales.
After a summer holiday which took him to Abu Dhabi, China, South Korea and New York, Pogba returns to action looking for a new challenge.
Manchester United are under pressure to keep Pogba in their ranks amidst strong interest from Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid and also Juventus.
The player’s agent Mino Raiola recently revealed that the transfer of the French world cupper “is in the process”.
He had been quoted by The Times saying about Pogba’s situation at the Old Trafford, that “Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes”
The former Juventus playmaker had suggested last month in Tokyo that now “could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
Pogba, who moved to United from Juventus in 2016 for a then-world-record fee of £89.3 million ($111.73 million), has got fans divided for his inconsistent displays despite scoring 31 goals in 142 appearances in all competitions.
