Tottenham Eye Savinho as Grealish Nears Everton Loan

Manchester City face a potential late-summer shake-up, with winger Savinho attracting firm interest from Tottenham Hotspur and midfielder Jack Grealish set to join Everton on loan.

Sources indicate Spurs have opened talks for the 21-year-old Brazilian, but City are reluctant to sanction a deal unless Savinho himself pushes for a move. Any transfer is expected to command a fee exceeding £50 million. Savinho enjoyed a solid debut campaign at the Etihad, making 48 appearances and netting three goals, following an impressive spell at Girona.

Meanwhile, Grealish is close to sealing a loan switch to Everton, with a medical scheduled after the clubs reached an agreement. The 29-year-old, who joined City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a club-record £100 million, found game time limited last season, making just 16 starts in all competitions. At Goodison Park, he will become Sean Dyche’s fifth signing of the summer as the Toffees look to bolster creativity in attack.

City’s stance on Savinho and the departure of Grealish could yet prompt late moves in the transfer market before the window closes.
