Barcelona will remain top of La Liga during the first international break of the season, with Hansi Flick’s side remaining the only team with a 100% record. Barcelona put on a goal-scoring clinic, defeating Valladolid 7-0 in their La Liga match. The hosts started the game with a strong intensity, and despite missing a few chances, they eventually broke the deadlock through Raphinha in the 20th minute.
Robert Lewandowski doubled Barcelona’s lead just four minutes later, assisted by Lamine Yamal. Jules Kounde added a third goal before halftime, converting a corner from Raphinha.
After the break, Raphinha continued his impressive performance, scoring two more goals to complete his first hat-trick for Barcelona. Dani Olmo finally got on the scoresheet in the 83rd minute, marking his home debut with a goal. Ferran Torres added another goal in the closing stages to complete Barcelona’s dominant victory.
With this win, Barcelona has extended their lead at the top of the La Liga table, five points clear of their nearest rivals.
