FIFA Unveils Official 2026 World Cup Team of the Tournament as Spain Dominate XI

FIFA has announced its official 2026 FIFA World Cup Team of the Tournament, with newly crowned world champions Spain leading the selection after an impressive campaign that ended with World Cup glory.

Set up in a 4-3-3 formation, the all-star XI features standout performers from seven different nations, recognising the players who made the biggest impact during the tournament hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Spain, who defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final to lift their second World Cup title, have the highest representation in the team with three players. Full-backs Marc Cucurella and Pedro Porro are rewarded for their defensive consistency throughout the tournament, while midfielder Rodri, who also claimed the Golden Ball as the competition’s best player, anchors the midfield after another commanding international campaign.
