Chelsea agree deal for Lamine Camara
Chelsea have agreed a £47 million deal to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, with the Senegal international set to become the club’s latest midfield addition following Enzo Fernández’s move to Manchester City. The 22-year-old is expected to sign a six-year contract, subject to completing his medical.
Camara, who joined Monaco from Metz in 2024, has emerged as one of Chelsea’s preferred options to strengthen the midfield. The deal represents a significant increase from Chelsea’s earlier £38.5m bid, which Monaco rejected before negotiations eventually progressed.
