Manchester City are reportedly close to completing a deal for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández in a package worth around £120 million, with negotiations entering the final stages on deadline day.
Fernández’s potential departure has prompted Chelsea to accelerate their search for a replacement. Lamine Camara and Manu Koné have emerged as key targets, with reports suggesting Chelsea are now close to an agreement with Roma for Koné.
There has also been discussion over Jamie Gittens potentially moving to Roma, although reliable reports currently indicate that a loan has been explored rather than confirming that the winger is formally part of the Koné deal.
If completed, Fernández’s move would become one of the biggest transfers in Premier League history and would represent a major midfield reshuffle for both clubs.
