Nelson’s Arsenal Career Comes to an End

Nelson joined Arsenal’s academy as an eight-year-old and progressed through the club’s youth system before making his senior debut in 2017.

However, establishing himself as a regular under Arteta proved difficult. The winger spent several periods away from north London on loan, including spells with Hoffenheim, Feyenoord, Fulham and Brentford.

His most recent loan spells at Fulham and Brentford failed to provide the sustained breakthrough he had hoped for. He made only 11 Premier League appearances for Fulham during the 2024/25 campaign and was restricted to 10 league appearances for Brentford last season. ([Standard][1])
