Barcelona Confident of Resolving Dani Olmo Crisis

Barcelona are optimistic about resolving the registration issues of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor within 24 hours, despite La Liga recently unregistering both players. Following a four-hour meeting led by President Joan Laporta and other senior officials, the club is hopeful of gaining approval to count €100 million from the sale of VIP boxes at Camp Nou towards their salary limit.

The agreement, involving Qatar and Dubai-based companies, spans 20 years and is expected to meet La Liga’s financial requirements. Barcelona plans to invoke a “force majeure” clause, citing unforeseen circumstances, to bypass the deadline restrictions.

Reports suggest the club attributes the delay to La Liga’s demand for additional documentation. Barcelona aims to have both players registered before Hansi Flick’s pre-match press conference on Friday. Failure to do so could rule Dani Olmo and Victor out for the season.
