Coutinho: Being jeered by fans is part of football
Philippe Coutinho has admitted that being jeered by fans is simply part of the game.
Coutinho and his Brazil teammateswere subject to whistles from some supporters at half time after failing to take the lead against Bolivia in their Copa America opener.
Despite winning 3-0, Brazil were jeered by their own fans in their opening Copa America game against Bolivia. Fans at the Morumbi stadium, which was around 70% full, booed Brazil at the break after a goalless first half in the Group A match. pic.twitter.com/vGZMooBkEY

The Barcelona midfielder went on to score twice in a 3-0 win as the hosts got off to a good start in their home tournament.
“Being jeered by the crowd is part of football,” he said.
“The Brazil fans ask a lot of us because they want us to play well.
“The important thing is to be strong so that we can play better, which is what we did after scoring the first goal.”
Brazil dominated for large parts of the first half but didn’t find the net until Coutinho converted a VAR assisted penalty in the 50th minute before adding a second from header.
“It was hard, like all the opening games in a tournament,” he said.
“After the goal, we started to play better. Tite told us that we had to have more patience and adjust to the playing style.”
