This season, Raphinha has consecutively shown stellar performances along with his spectacular finesse. Wonderboy Yamal is the centre of discussion since he has started playing for the club. Pedri is contributing in the midfield, creating plenty of chances for the club as well.
Recently, after the first leg of the semi-finals of the UCL, UEFA has declared the official all-stars team of the week, putting this trio in an effective spot.
In the tenure of Hansi Flick, Raphinha has been emerging as the most influential player in the squad. Talking of individual performance this season, the Brazilian winger has left behind the former Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi as he leads the club’s goal contribution in the Champions League. Raphinha has become the first Barcelona player to hit the milestone of 20th goal involvement in a single Champions League season with a 50 goal/assist ratio as he scores 28 goals and has 22 assists across all competitions.
On 4th May,2025, he scored against Real Valladolid and led FC Barcelona one step closer to the 2024-25 La Liga title, and in the same campaign, he has scored 16 goals and 9 assists. He is the highest goal scorer and assist provider in the Champions League tournament this season, and he has evidently made his case for the next Ballon d’Or nomination. Raphinha is very close to equaling Mr. Champions League’s UCL record. He scored in the UCL final, although FC Barcelona lost it to Inter Milan.
Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old youngster, is the trump card for the club. Recently, Yamal has dropped breathtaking performances in the Champions League and the La Liga with his outstanding dribbling and impactful crosses. In the La Liga, Lamine Yamal has created 57 chances. His accuracy level is very effective, and that has definitely helped the team to seal the deal in the Copa del Rey final against their arch rivals Real Madrid, as he set up the final 2 goals for the club’s clutch victory in the extra time. Yamal is being called the best teenager in the world.
Pedri is said to be one of the best midfielders playing in Europe right at this moment. In the Copa del Rey final, the Spanish youngster scored the opening goal for his team. Recovering from his injury, Pedri has appeared to be instrumental for the club in the long run. This season, he has scored his first brace wearing the Barcelona jersey. The centre midfielder has scored 6 goals and provided 13 assists so far this season. Not only as a ball progressor, but also in the back, Pedri is phenomenal with his ball recovery. Pedri has already been the La Liga player of the month in April.
