Borussia Dortmund surged into the Bundesliga top four on Saturday with a commanding 4-0 victory over VfL Wolfsburg. A brace from Serhou Guirassy and two late goals from substitute Karim Adeyemi secured the crucial win, enhancing their prospects of Champions League qualification.
Guirassy opened the scoring early, capitalizing on defensive errors in the third minute before adding his second after a fluid team move just before the hour mark, taking his league tally to 19. Adeyemi then sealed the emphatic win with two stunning solo goals within four minutes after coming off the bench, first with a 35-meter run in the 69th minute and then another similar effort.
The victory lifts Dortmund to fourth place with 51 points, their fifth win in the last six league matches. They sit ahead of Freiburg on goal difference and one point above RB Leipzig in the race for the coveted Champions League spots.
