Frankfurt stun Bayern with a stoppage-time equalizer in Six-Goal Thriller. Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich played out an enthralling 3-3 draw, with Omar Marmoush‘s stoppage-time strike denying the Bundesliga leaders victory. The match showcased attacking football at its finest, with both teams trading the lead in a pulsating encounter.

Bayern started brightly when defender Kim Min-jae opened the scoring from close range. However, Frankfurt’s in-form striker Marmoush quickly responded, scoring in his fifth consecutive league game with a well-placed shot under Manuel Neuer.

The hosts then took the lead through Hugo Ekitike, who finished off excellent work from Marmoush after the Egyptian outmuscled Dayot Upamecano. The French defender made amends just three minutes later, reacting fastest to a loose ball to level the scores.

Former Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise restored Bayern’s advantage with a curling effort, assisted by Harry Kane. The England captain, who failed to score for the third straight game, recorded his fifth assist of the season – the highest in the Bundesliga. Kane’s day ended prematurely when he was forced off after 72 minutes following a collision with Frankfurt’s Tuta.

As the match entered stoppage time, Bayern appeared set to bounce back from their Champions League defeat against Aston Villa – their first loss under new manager Vincent Kompany. However, Marmoush had other ideas, racing clear to score his eighth goal of the season with a precise finish into the far corner.

The result extends Bayern’s winless run to three games across all competitions, suggesting Kompany’s honeymoon period may be coming to an end. Despite the draw, Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga on goal difference ahead of RB Leipzig, who defeated Heidenheim earlier in the day.

Frankfurt, who would have topped the Bundesliga for the first time since 1999 with a victory, had to settle for third place as they extended their unbeaten run to five matches.
