Angel di Maria added a second just before half-time and Marquinhos headed the third after 66 minutes. Mbappe thought he had scored a fourth late on but it was ruled out for offside. He was replaced by Pablo Sarabia shortly after.
Mbappe thought he had a second goal with 15 minutes to go but it was disallowed for offside.
It was a second successive Ligue 1 win for PSG who suffered shock back to back defeats in the beginning of the new campaign. First they lost to newly promoted Lens and the second ended in a mass brawl against Marseille which led to the suspension of five players from both sides.
PSG were without Neymar, Layvin Kurzawa and Leandro Paredes, who were all suspended after their red cards in the melee against Marseille.
Patrick Vieira’s Nice are on six points from four games, the same total as champions PSG.
Mbappe expressed his happiness of returning to action in a post match tweet
