Monza’s Struggles
Monza’s decision to re-appoint Nesta highlights their desperate search for stability and a solution to their ongoing struggles. They currently sit bottom of the Serie A table with just 13 points from 24 games and are eight points adrift of safety.5
Nesta, a former Italy international and renowned defender with Lazio and AC Milan, now has a second chance to prove himself as Monza manager.6 He will be hoping to utilize his experience and tactical knowledge to guide the club away from the relegation zone.
