Ronaldo scores Again as Al-Nassr Cruise Past Al-Fateh
Cristiano Ronaldo continued his impressive goalscoring form with another goal as Al-Nassr secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Al-Fateh in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese forward’s late strike sealed the win for Al-Nassr, who moved back into third place in the standings.
Ronaldo‘s goal, his third in two games, came in the 87th minute after he received an assist from Sadio Mané. The 39-year-old now leads the league’s scoring charts with 14 goals, two ahead of Al-Ittihad’s Karim Benzema.
Al-Nassr took the lead in the first half through an own goal from Marwana Saadane, before Mohamed Simakan doubled their advantage with a header. Although Al-Fateh pulled a goal back through Mourad Batna, Ronaldo’s late strike ensured a comfortable victory for Al-Nassr.
The win moves Al-Nassr up to third place with 35 points, eight points behind league leaders Al-Hilal. Al-Fateh, meanwhile, remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just nine points.
