Saka Nears Arsenal Return, Could Feature Against Fulham
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka could be included in the matchday squad for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Fulham on Tuesday, April 1st, potentially ending his absence since December.
The 23-year-old England international has been sidelined after suffering a hamstring tear against Crystal Palace, which required surgery. According to reports, Saka’s recovery is progressing as planned, and he has returned to full training with the first team.
However, Arsenal are exercising caution with his reintegration and will make a final decision on his inclusion closer to the matchday.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Saka is expected to be available for Arsenal’s crucial Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid in April. The first leg is scheduled for April 8th.
News of Saka’s potential return comes amid reports last week that Arsenal are preparing to open formal contract negotiations with the player, who is entering the final two years of his current deal. His availability would provide a significant boost to Arsenal’s attacking options as they enter a critical phase of the season.
