Ibrahimović tests positive for Covid-19
AC Milan’s veteran forward Zlatan Ibrahimović has tested positive for coronavirus.
Milan said that the 38-year-old Swedish legend would miss their Europa League match against Bodo later on Thursday.
“Zlatan Ibrahimović has tested positive for Covid-19 following a second round of swab tests ahead of tonight’s game against Bodø/Glimt. The Club has informed the relevant authorities and the player has been promptly placed in quarantine at home. All other team members and staff have tested negative.,” the official statement reads.
The 38-year-old former Sweden international has been placed in quarantine at home.

His positive result came in a second round of testing after defender Leo Duarte tested positive on Wednesday, and all other players and staff returned negative tests.
Both players will miss Thursday’s Europa League third qualifying round match with Bodo/Glimt.
Ibrahimović scored twice in Milan’s 2-0 Serie A win over Bologna on Monday.
He signed a one-year contract extension with the club last month.
