The draw for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage was held in Miami on Thursday, April 10th, setting the stage for the confederation’s premier men’s national team tournament.

Hosts United States were drawn into Group D alongside Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, and invited guest nation Saudi Arabia.

Defending champions Mexico headline Group A and will face Costa Rica, Suriname, and the Dominican Republic.

Group B consists of Canada, Honduras, El Salvador, and Curaçao, while Group C features Panama, Jamaica, Guatemala, and Guadeloupe.

The 18th edition of the tournament will take place from June 14th to July 6th, featuring 16 teams.

Matches will be played across 14 stadiums in 11 metropolitan areas in the United States and Canada, excluding the Eastern seaboard.

The opening match is scheduled for June 14th in Inglewood, California, with the final set for July 6th in Houston, Texas – the first Gold Cup final to be held in the state. The full match schedule is expected to be announced on Friday, April 11th.

The United States is expected to field a second-string team for the tournament, similar to their approach in 2023 when they lost to Panama in the semi-finals.

These matches will represent the final competitive fixtures for the USMNT before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which they are co-hosting and thus qualify for automatically.

Saudi Arabia participates as an invited guest nation, an arrangement that also extends to the 2027 edition.

The tournament coincides with the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, which FIFA has reportedly given scheduling priority, potentially impacting player availability for some nations.
