Ajax maintained their impressive unbeaten streak in the Eredivisie, securing a 3-1 victory over NAC Breda at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Sunday, April 6th. Goals from Kenneth Taylor, Steven Berghuis, and substitute Jorthy Mokio sealed the win after the hosts fell behind early.

NAC Breda, who defeated Ajax 2-1 in their previous encounter last August, took a surprise lead in the ninth minute through K. Sauer.

However, Ajax responded decisively before halftime. Kenneth Taylor equalized from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute, and just three minutes later, Steven Berghuis put the Amsterdam side ahead.

Substitute Jorthy Mokio added a third goal in the 76th minute to secure the points for Ajax, extending their unbeaten run in the league which stretches back to early December 2024.

The match also saw Ajax players wear special shirts featuring three white dots and the message “Silence Social Hate” in place of the usual Ziggo sponsor logo, as part of a joint initiative to combat online abuse.

Ajax’s next Eredivisie fixture is away to Willem II on Sunday, April 13th.
