Jude Bellingham continued his impressive goalscoring form with a crucial strike that propelled Real Madrid to a 3-0 victory over Mallorca in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final. The England midfielder’s second-half goal set up a mouthwatering Clasico final against Barcelona on Sunday.

The match, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, saw Real Madrid dominate possession but struggle to break down a resilient Mallorca defense. The breakthrough finally came in the 63rd minute when Bellingham reacted quickest to poke home after Rodrygo’s header hit the post and Kylian Mbappé’s follow-up was saved.

Real Madrid added two further goals in stoppage time to seal the victory. Martin Valjent inadvertently turned Brahim Diaz’s through ball into his own net, before Rodrygo swept home Lucas Vazquez’s shot from close range.

Bellingham’s goal was his seventh in his last nine games for Real Madrid and his ninth of the season, highlighting his growing influence in the team.

Clasico Showdown Awaits

Real Madrid will now face Barcelona in a repeat of last year’s final, which Real Madrid won 4-1. The match will be a chance for Real Madrid to avenge their heavy 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in La Liga back in October.

Barcelona secured their place in the final with a 2-0 victory over Athletic Club on Wednesday. Dani Olmo missed that match due to registration issues, but he could feature in the final after receiving provisional clearance from the Spanish National Sports Council.

Both teams will be eager to claim the first silverware of the year, with Barcelona aiming for a record-extending 14th Super Cup title and Real Madrid looking to close the gap with their 13th triumph. The Clasico final promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of Spain’s biggest rivals.
