Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year contract extension with Al-Nassr, the Saudi Pro League club announced on Thursday, which will see the Portuguese superstar remain with the team beyond his 42nd birthday.

The new deal secures the 40-year-old forward’s future in Riyadh until at least the end of the 2027-28 season.

Ronaldo first joined the Saudi club in December 2022 after his departure from Manchester United. He has since become a pivotal figure for the team, scoring an impressive 93 goals in 105 appearances across all competitions.

His goal-scoring prowess has continued unabated in Saudi Arabia, where he has won the league’s Golden Boot for the past two consecutive seasons.

The contract extension ends speculation about Ronaldo’s immediate future and signals a strong commitment from both the player and Al-Nassr to continue their partnership as they challenge for domestic and continental titles.
