Inter Milan delivered a dominant performance to secure a 4-0 victory over Lecce, keeping pace with Serie A leaders Napoli. The win keeps Inter in second place with 50 points, three points behind Napoli and with a game in hand.
Inter started aggressively and took the lead in the sixth minute through Davide Frattesi’s volley. Despite having two goals disallowed for offside, Inter continued to press and doubled their lead through Lautaro Martínez’s superb strike just before half-time.
The second half saw Inter maintain their dominance, with Denzel Dumfries adding a third goal before Mehdi Taremi converted a penalty to make it 4-0.
This emphatic victory highlights Inter’s title credentials and their determination to keep pace with Napoli at the top of the table. Lecce, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone and face a battle to avoid the drop.
