Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is set to join Everton on loan for the 2025-26 Premier League season, with the deal expected to be finalised by Tuesday, August 12. The 29-year-old, who managed just one goal and one assist in 20 league appearances last season, is reportedly impressed with David Moyes’s project at Goodison Park.
Jack Grealish, now moving to Everton endured a difficult 2024-25 campaign as City struggled for consistency, ultimately finishing third and missing out on a fifth consecutive league title. His form has been under scrutiny since joining from Aston Villa in 2021, with flashes of brilliance failing to translate into consistent performances. The situation worsened when Pep Guardiola left him out of the Club World Cup squad, and his absence from the England team has continued under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
With City’s recent signings pushing him further down the pecking order, and a permanent transfer unlikely due to his high wages and price tag, a loan move was seen as the best option for all parties. Football journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Grealish has agreed to the switch and will undergo his medical on Monday, August 11, before completing the transfer the following day.
